A Different Kind of Care

If you've been struggling to find meaningful comprehensive medical support, you're not alone.

Maybe you're tired of waiting weeks - or months - to see your doctor, only to be told you can bring up just one concern per visit. Maybe you've left appointments feeling dismissed, unheard or confused by lab results that say everything is "normal," even though nothing feels right in your body. Or maybe you've walked away with a prescription but no real answers.

You're not wrong for wanting more. And you're not the only one.

Over half of Canadian adults aged 18 to 79 use at least one prescription medication every month. Many feel stuck in a system that manages symptoms but often misses the deeper picture.

There is another way.

The Naturopathic Approach

Naturopathic medicine looks at health differently. It views symptoms - whether physical, mental, emotional, or even spiritual - not as something to be silenced, but as messages. Signals. Invitations to slow down and listen.

Pain, fatigue, insomnia, anxiety, digestive upset - these are often the body's intelligent responses to internal and external stress. They're not failures. They're part of a larger adaptive process. But in our rush to feel better quickly, we often interrupt this process: we take painkillers for headaches, caffeine for exhaustion, and sedatives to sleep. We manage the symptom, but ignore the root.

This kind of short-term relief can be helpful - even necessary - at times. But when it's the only approach, we miss the opportunity for deeper, lasting healing.

Naturopathic medicine invites us to pause, listen, and work with the body, not against it.

What Working With Me Looks Like

As a licensed Naturopathic Doctor practicing in British Columbia and Manitoba. (in-person and online), I take time to understand your full story - not just your symptoms. Together, we explore what your body is trying to communicate and how to support its natural healing processes.

I help patients :

  • Restore digestive health and uncover food intolerances
  • Rebalance the nervous system and reduce stress responses
  • Understand and work through emotional patterns affecting health
  • Build self-trust and awareness around their body's rhythms
  • Feel empowered with natural tools to support long-term healing

This kind of care takes time. It takes patience. And it takes a deep respect for the complex ways our bodies, minds, and emotions interact.

Beyond the Physical

One of the most profound lessons I've learned - through both personal healing and clinical practice - is this: Even when physical symptoms are addressed, true health doesn't always return...unless we also tend to the emotional and mental landscape.

I've worked with patients who, on paper, were doing everything "right" - eating well, sleeping enough, moving their bodies - but still weren't getting better. It wasn't until we explored their emotional well-being, beliefs, trauma, and inner narratives that real healing began.

These experiences deepened my commitment to addressing the whole person in my work.

Your story matters. Your body's signals matter. Your emotional world matters. When we weave these together, your healing becomes deeper, more resonate, and longer-lasting.

This Is the Kind of Care I Believe In

Whether we're working to calm digestive inflammation, restore your nervous system and find sounder sleep, balance your hormones, or navigate emotional pains, my goal is to support you in reconnecting with your body, your health, and your capacity to heal.

This is the medicine I trust.
This is the work I love.
And if this sounds like the kind of care you've been searching for, I'd be honoured to work with you.

Common Concerns I Support

  • Digestive issues
  • Allergies
  • Autoimmune conditions
  • Thyroid conditions
  • Headaches/Migraines
  • Sleep issues
  • Adrenal fatigue and burnout
  • Menstrual issues
  • Chronic pain
  • Anxiety/Depression
  • Weight management
  • Hormone imbalances
  • Skin conditions
  • Acute conditions (UTIs, rashes, sore throats, ear infections)
No concern is too big or too small.

In my naturopathic practise, I take time to listen closely - to the finer details of your story, your symptoms, and your experience. You don't need an official diagnosis to be taken seriously, and you don't need to "fit" a specific category to receive care.

Just because your concern isn't listed doesn't mean it doesn't matter. If something feels off, I want to understand why - and help you make sense of it.

I am especially inspired to work with those who are ready to explore their health more deeply and feel drawn to a naturopathic approach.

FAQs

What is the difference between a naturopath and a naturopathic doctor?

The term "naturopath" is unregulated and often used by individuals who have completed short or online programs with widely varying standards and little to no clinical training.

This distinction is important. When someone identifies as a "naturopath," is may indicate they do not have the same level of education, clinical training, or licensing as a naturopathic doctor. This can be confusing for patients seeking safe, evidence-informed, and regulated healthcare.

In British Columbia and Manitoba, the title "Naturopathic Doctor" (ND) is legally protected and can only be used by those who are fully licensed, have passed national and provincial board exams, and meet ongoing continuing education requirements.

Choosing a licensed naturopathic doctor ensures that you're working with a highly trained professional who is accountable to regulatory standards and committed to safe, effective, and ethical care.
